Wayne Mulligan is the founding partner and CEO of Fomana Capital, which invests in technology and biotechnology companies. He is also a Director of NZ Bio Forestry, which is commercialising the production of biofuels from New Zealand plantation forestry. Wayne is the project manager of the agri-sector programme Taiao Ora Tangata Ora, placing nature at the centre and underpinned with Te Ao Māori, science, and consumer markets. He is Chair of a large Māori health organisation and has been involved in several Tiriti negotiations between tribes and the New Zealand government.
Wayne holds a Master of Management from the University of Auckland and attended the Stanford University Executive Bootcamp for Te Hono NZ Agri-tech (2014); Te Hono, SAP, and Stanford Design School intensive program (2015); and Te Hono USA Consumer Insights at Stanford University (2016). In addition, Wayne has been involved in numerous New Zealand business delegations and has been a member of free trade missions to China and ASEAN. He works with SEA CAPE to develop and expose young New Zealanders to ASEAN markets and opportunities.
An industry advisor for several New Zealand universities, Vivienne works to foster research collaborations with commercial stakeholders. She was based in Singapore from 2011 to 2020, working for A*STAR and Abbott Nutrition R&D, managing nutrition and health economics research collaborations. While in Singapore, she worked with Māori-led organisations researching regional product opportunities. Vivienne was elected President of the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce after serving as Vice President and was a board member for three years. She has a strong network of scientific institutions and commercial organisations in Asia and is a Beachhead Advisor for NZTE in Southeast Asia.
Vivienne has a PhD in Management and International Business, an Executive MBA from the University of Auckland, a diploma in Public Health Nutrition from the Public Health Foundation of India, and undergraduate qualifications in Microbiology.
Paul is the former chair of Wakatū Corporation and has been a Board member since 1986. He holds several commercial directorships and has also been a member of various Government-appointed advisory groups and industry initiative groups, including being on the board of Asia NZ Foundation. Paul is a member of the Audit & Risk and HR Committees and is Chair of the Kono Board.
In 2021, Paul was inducted into the NZ Business Hall of Fame. This award recognises Paul's work over many years for the whānau of Wakatū, leading the Wakatū Board and his significant contribution to many other sectors across Aotearoa and internationally.
Louise has 20 years of experience working with technology and information systems in both the government and private sectors. Louise has a Master of Information Management from Victoria University of Wellington and has a strong interest in new and emerging technologies.
As a Director of CreNative Limited, Louise provides advice and expertise to organisations seeking to improve their technology infrastructure and processes, enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve business performance.
In her spare time, Louise enjoys time with her whānau, travel and hiking.
