The freely available information from Nuku ki te Puku provides building blocks to support Māori and New Zealand players in developing their business models and products for markets in Southeast Asia.
Nuku ki te Puku already has an array of resources (jump to Insights section) related to the science of nutrition (food and beverages) that can optimise people's and the environment's health. We are extending our programmes to include biotechnology, agri-technology, and renewable energy technologies.

STUDENT-LED PROGRAMMES
Nuku ki te Puku has partnered with the Southeast Centre for Asia Pacific Excellence (SEA CAPE) since 2018 to run student-led initiatives in Southeast Asia and in New Zealand.
The Tertiary Market Immersion Programme (TMIP) provides an opportunity for business-savvy tertiary students from New Zealand to engage with Southeast Asia and broaden their understanding of business in the region. These have included the Tertiary Market Immersion Programmes in 2021 and 2022 focusing on dairy and non-dairy sectors in 2022 and the Natural Health Products Sector. ESTABLISHED CONNECTIONS
Te Taurapa Tūhono, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, is New Zealand's international business development agency. Its job is to support exporters to grow a productive, sustainable, and inclusive economy. It does this by supporting innovative businesses, including food producers, Māori land trusts and iwi, tech start-ups, service providers and manufacturers.
Te Hono is a partnership between the leaders of Aotearoa New Zealand’s food and fibre sector companies, iwi, and government agencies. Their vision is for Aotearoa New Zealand to be a global food and fibre leader – economically, environmentally, and socially.
ANZBC is a member-based business council connecting New Zealand businesses with ASEAN trading partners. It advocates for member concerns as well as providing a network for contacts to learn about the markets and assist its members’ ASEAN business efforts
